WHAT IS THE HP SOFTWARE WARRANTY ON A 6 MONTH OLD WINDOWS 10 DESKTOP?

I HAD TO SEND MY PC BACK TO THE FACTORY FOR REPAIR ON A DEVECTIVE MEMORY CHIP.

i GOT THE PC BACK WITH THE HARD DRIVE WIPED AND WINDOWS 10 64 BIT HOME SOFTWARE INSTALLED.

WHEN I BOUGHT THE PC IT CAME WITH A RECOVERY "D" PARTITION SET UP ON THE THE C- DRIVE.

HP REFUSES TO REINSTALL THE D RECOVERY PARTITION. THEY SAY IT WILL COST ME A $17.00 / MONTH SOFTWARE PLAN FOR HP TO REINSTALL THE D- RECOVERY PARTITION.

ANY ONE HAD THIS HAPPEN ON A 6 MONTH OLD DESKTOP PC?

@STAMPER2

Unless HP has made a change. I know

(a) For hardware: 1 full year,

(b) For software: only 3 months

You do not need to re-install Recovery partition. You can use Cloud Recovery Tool
