HP ENVY Desktop - 750-514 ssd hard drive failed  I bought the same make and model.  Tried to install windows 10 from a usb on the drive.  It states that it is in the wrong format.  That it should be MBR and not the current GBT .  How do I proceed?

If your PC came with Win10 preloaded, then it was configured to use UEFI mode and in that case, Windows had been preloaded using GPT format drives.

From your comments, it sounds like you made MBR-formatted media and what you need is UEFI-formatted media.  So, you need to download the ISO from MS again and this time, use the free RUFUS utility to create UEFI installation media.  You can get RUFUS from here:  Rufus - The Official Website (Download, New Releases)
