HP Envy 750 desktop computer freezing up soon after start up, using Windows 10 Home edition.

I have a HP ENVY 750-055xt desktop computer running Windows 10. When I turn it on it boots and opens Windows to my desk top as if everything is fine, but after about 1 to 2 minutes of use the mouse and screen locks. I cannot get out by going to the task manager and stopping the program. It will not let me do anything. In order to shut it down I have to push the power button and hold it down until it finally shuts down. To restart of course I must push the power button. I finally started it and got to the Windows system diagnostic and began running a fast check. The check stopped and locked up again with a failure code: GG9XV1-7N1AGG-QFFWMG-405V03.
:Looking for help. I am not very computer savvy so please understand you are assisting a novice. Thanks.
