Hello All,

I recently came back home from being out with friends to see a black screen on my computer. The black screen stated "Boot Device not found..Install Operating System on hard drive. I do not remember updating my computer before I left so I do not know why this message has popped up all of a sudden. It stated to hit F2 key for system diagnostics, and after pressing this key it states:

"HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI"

"Version 1.17.0.0 - BIOS"

"[Memory Test]"

"[Hard Drive Check]"

"[Language]"

"[Exit]"

I really do not have the money to buy a new computer, and I am really hoping my school files and memories are kept somewhere within the computer. I have read a couple forums on different ways to go about this process but most of the people have said it either hasn't worked or it resulted in a total loss of data/memory. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thank you
