OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1029ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone.

I am extremely annoyed because my HP Obelisk Desktop 875-1029ns (64gb, RTX 2080 Ti, BIOS F.32) is showing severe heat marks in the glass panel.

Have not noticed any strange behaviour on the machine at all but all of a sudden these concerning signs of severe heat appeared. I keep my machine on top of my desk and dust free  These marks seem to be mostly in the GPU area and the cables coming out from it as well as the PSU area. This thing looks awful and not happy at all such a machine is at such state in just over a year.

Why happened? Can it happen again? How can I make sure the machine is ok?

Download and install cpu / gpu temperature monitoring software and run it to see how hot the system is getting. It may be running too hot due to overclocking or heatsink /thermal compound issues.
