Until recently, I had bluetooth working in my PC HP Pavilion and all of a sudden it shows no bluetooth found in this computer 

or something like that...does Windows updates have anything to do with this?

Locate the bluetooth device in the device manager and roll back the driver to the previous one.


Rollback the driver that the Device Managers shows as failing or is the wrong one.

 While you are there, make a note of the device (Intel, Ralink, Realtek, etc) in case we need to find a driver on the internet.
