Product: HP EliteBook x360 1030 G4 Notebook PC
i have an hp elitebook x260 1030 g4 that has a message display when starting up. it says " recovering intel (r) management engine firmware to version 12.0.45.1509" and starts to install it. it gets to 50% and then the device reboots and completes the same action in an eternal loop. I can't get to the bios config.
I've left it in this state for hours until I get tired of it and disconnected the power and it runs out of battery.
I've had a look through the support pages and can't see anything.
I've asked the chat bot, which seems confused from the outset.
any ideas?
