Hi, Thanks for trying to help me out. My HP Pavilion, Desktop computer, all-in-one, 27-a030, windows 10 OS crashed suddenly. Luckily, I was able to back-up all my files on a DVD through HP recovery manager. However when I reinstalled windows 10, and tried to restore my backed-up files through HP recovery manager, it keeps stopping after restoring 85% of the files. I even tried to copy the files into an external USB drive bu still ran into the same problem. Very frustrated and just don't know what else to do. May be you can help. Thanks again.

Sorry, but HP uses some proprietary format for their backups and if their tool will not read the backups, as far as I know, you are stuck.
