How can I restore my Desktop to Normal?

HP Pavillion PC 550-127c

When I try to login into my computer, my name appears as Administrator & it takes a really long time to login. Once I login, the background would be all black with the Recycle Bin App only bein there & the navigator dashboard on the bottom. I can't use the Internet or anything & none of the functions work at all & I need helpeople ASAP. My keyboard also doesn't type the keys that I want & I don't know how to fix it back to normal.

How can I restore my Desktop to Normal?

@ChrisMuniz323

Without a working keyboard, you can not do ANYTHING.  So, the first thing to do is swap in another keyboard so you have something that works.

Also, these symptoms tend to indicate a failing or failed hard drive.

If your PC is new enough to support UEFI, you can use these steps to test the hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If not, to check the drive you have to follow these steps:
1) Press Esc key repeatedly, several times a second, while rebooting the laptop. Do NOT hold the key down, just press it over and over.
2) Eventually, you will see an HP Startup Menu
3) Press the Function key for testing the hard drive (usually F2) and let it run.
