If this method won't work, try some otehr free windows passwrod reset tool like ntpassword, Tunesbro, ophrack, and more..

I tried your trick but the system still asks for a password before accessing command prompt. Eventually I found a similar trick but it worked:

I have to cut off the power when my system is running, so I can access startup repair, then bring up the file browser dialog box and replace utilman.exe with cmd. Now I can log back into my admin account. Thanks any way!

You can get a lot of these . 

What my method is use the password reset disk to remove the password from Windows 8 computer ,it can disable password requests when you log in, if you don't have any password reset disk , you can make a one youself .

They will work on Windows 8 computer.
