My desktop continually freezes and I get a blue screen with message "driver verifier dma violation". I tried to make a HP recovery usb but when entering my model ID which is N8X12EA#ABU it returns "invalid number " message.

Hi @Arogueant
Your PC is blue screening so you can't load Windows.
So you may have to install Windows clean. But there may be a way to fix this by using W10 installation media in recovery mode. Check this Site on how to disable driver verifier using W10 installation media.
Back up data as the drive will be partitioned and formatted if you install Windows. You will have to connect the system drive to a different PC as a data drive. Or possibly use a Linux Live USB drive to mount the system drive to back up data.
Your PC does not seem to support HP Cloud Recovery. And don't see a HP recovery disk purchase option. You may have to create Windows 10 installation media available at this Site on a different PC. Boot to this media to install W10 clean.
Follow prompts. Select "I don't have a product key". Do a Custom Installation.
W10 should activate when the PC is connected to the network. The W7 OEM product key should be stored in the BIOS.
