HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p109

Hello, I have an old HP Pavilion Desktop 510-p109. It crashes frequently. I tried to do a clean re-install in different ways, but it failed each time. Is there a way to get a copy of the system recovery CD.

While the support site does not list the HP Cloud Recovery as supported, you can get Windows 10 install media and use that and then visit the HP support to get any drivers the install media misses.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

If you need the install media for Windows 10, you can make it from this Microsoft download

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

With a working PC, scroll down to the "Using the tool to create installation media"
and then follow the directions. You can make either the DVD or USB. Use this new media to install Windows 10.
When the install asks for the product key, click the "I don't have a product key" option to continue,
then the install will continue. It will be activated once it connects to the internet, as it uses a digital key.

Hi @PowerSurge1981

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Try Computer Surgeons.

Check your PC's hardware as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run system and component tests.

Sounds like you may have a HDD or RAM problem.
