The customer has purchased a Free DOS computer. They want to install a genuine HP OEM operating system. Can Ihelp this customer?

Hello
It is not possible !
An OEM version is a preinstalled version, at HP.
Hp does not provide OEM version separately!
If you want to install another version than the one in place, you must buy a new microsoft license

That seems to conflict with buying the computer with  Free DOS OS instead of with a genuine HP OEM operating system.

The point of buying the computer without the HP version of Windows is pointless if that would be the case.  Only option now is to install Windows as a retail purchase.
