HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-0050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-0050, Product number 6YQ50AA#ABA, which I purchased in January, 2020.

 

I just checked the HP webpage to see if the latest Windows 10 May 2020 update is compatible.  This Pavilion Desktop TP01-0050 is not listed. The webpage says, “Any PC product that is not listed in the Windows 10 May 2020 Update table was not tested by HP for this update and may not be supported by HP for Windows 10.”

 

There is a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx listed, but while this is close, it is not the product I have. 

 

My current OS is Windows 10 Home version 1909 build 18363.900 (64-bit).

 

I hope this is an error as this computer is only 6 months old.

 

Does anyone know anything about this.

I have not checked, but it is practically impossible to say if everything will go smoothly
Even if HP has tested the version, nothing says that there will be no problem with your configuration.
If you have added programs / software, devices, and maybe even none of this, it may not work properly
The update is recent, it is better to wait a little bit, microsoft, always fixes bugs after deployment ...
Nothing in a hurry to install it, check from time to time if there is something new, if there are no updates to do for the computer before!

Thank you for your reply.

I agree.  I had no plan to install Windows 10 May 2020 any time soon. 

I went to HP Support Forum to update another post.  HP stuck an "Alert Box” up so I clicked to see what it was.  That is when I saw it was about Windows 10 May 2020 update.  I decided to see if my computer was listed.  I was unhappy to see that my 6-month-old computer was not listed. 

I thought someone might know if HP is done testing or if my computer was omitted by mistake or if my computer model might still be tested sometime in the future.

I think sometimes HP employees read these posts and might know.

 

Not a problem today, but may be a problem in the future.  Hope someone knows.

for me, not yet tested this means, that there are no drivers for this product ..
If we look, you have a choice, until the 1909 version, I did not see any drivers, for the other version!
As long as it will not be available, I think that means that the computer is not "tested"
