Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated my bios this morning and after the reboot I lost all my office files. Is there a way I can recover them. Lots of work stuff. All the files were on an external hard drive.

If just the map connection to the external hard drive failed, it is just a matter of reconnecting.

 

If the external drive was "mapped" to your computer,

Try disconnecting and then remapping the drive.
