My HP shows a check HDMI-IN cable wont start off

HP Recommended
HP A10 Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently moved houses brought my desktop but it wont turn on a Check HDMI-IN port pops up.. i tried the no source 15 second hold the power button ans its still showing that message.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
  • Have you connected the HDMI cable to your computer?
  • Are you connecting your PC to an external monitor?
  • Are you able to login to your computer?   
  • Have you tried with a different HDMI cable?
