HP Recommended

I have used my existing HP mouse pointer for a number of years, without any problems. Lately, however, the device, without

warning, will stop working in the middle of typing a word. The touchpad pointe, which I have difficulty operating, will then automatically kick in. Upon restarting he PC, the HP pointer will be reactivated, but only for a few minutes.

I have uninstalled the pointer and restarted the PC, but without any success.
