My pc is telling me boot device not found. will the 32G usb recovery stick solve my issue?

tried putting windows disc in and still wouldn't work

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

I would try running HP Diagnostics UEFI (Link) to check for hardware failure.

 

Tap "Esc" at boot. Then select "F2".

 

Run system tests. You can also run component tests.
