Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Omen 30L which is a prebuilt. All the everyday use tasks work such as going onto google, but when I play a game I just lose all picture with the only fix being restarting the computer with the power button. I still have my sound and can even hear my character moving in the game. I've tried just about everything with my drivers and I'm not too sure what to do now.

I've had this issue off and on now for about 2 months where the computer will randomly lose display when loading into a game. The last time I had this issue was about a month ago and I talked to an HP support assistant who helped me seemingly fix the problem. The problem started again yesterday after running games perfectly fine for maybe 2 hours before and my warranty is up now so I'm not too sure what to do to fix it. I've tried everything with the drivers. Sometimes the game run for 5 minutes, others it crashes instantly upon changing display.

There are a number of games out for windows and compatibility varies depending on the windows build, drivers , etc.  Patches are released periodically by the game developers.

A list is here but is really old but then you did not specify the game

Google is your best friend getting help on game compatibility.

hi @grxnt  @BeemerBiker

What have you done with the hp agent?
contrary to @BeemerBiker  I do not think an incompatibility in itself, I suppose that the same games worked before?
If it crashes after at least two hours, it's usually overheating.
check the temperatures at start-up, and during use

https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

If it crashes fast enough, and no driver changes that, then it may be a graphics card fault.

Indicate the exact model of the computer, exact version of windows, version of the drivers used..
