Need help signing in to brand new HP Pro Desk 400G5 - Or do factory reset

HP pro desk 400G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

We are at the sign on screen and we don't have a user name or password yet, but the system is asking for a user name and password.  We can't get any further.  Please advise

Sorry no one has replied -- but the only thing I can think of is that you went through initial setup real fast and missed the details about setting up an account -- as it will DEFAULT to forcing you to use an online account and requires a LOT of work to work around that.

 

The only thing I can suggest is to turn off the PC completely, power it back on and go through the initial setup again.
