EliteDesk 800 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good day

We have acquired new HP EliteDesk 800 G4 TWR computers and opted for the HP Corporate Ready image to be installed from the factory.

Is there a way to get hold of the HP Corporate ready image to re image a computer for in case of hard drive failure or corruption?

We would like to use the image as is and not create our own custom image at this stage and would like to know if there is a quick way to re image a computer with the hp corporate ready image.

We were only able to get a Windows 10 OS installation disk from HP and a driver disk meaning we would have to reinstall everything from scratch.

Regards

Hi:

Yes, you can create factory image installation media using the cloud recovery client utility at the link below.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp85001-85500/sp85318.exe

I have attached an info file below for how to use the utility.

Thanks for the reply

Will the recovery media install the HP premier image or the HP Corporate ready image?

You're very welcome.

That I do not know.

It should install the image that HP installed on your PC.

I tested the Cloud recovery media and what it basically did was run a standard windows 10 setup to install windows 10 and then after windows 10 is installed you still have to install the drivers and hp applications separately

So it looks like you wont get your computer exactly the way it was from factory and don't know if it still classify as the HP Corporate Ready image

Thanks for testing it out.

That is very odd HP requires a 32 GB flash drive to install basically the same W10 you can install with the Microsoft media creation tool using an 8 GB flash drive.

Very disappointing.
