Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looks like my hard drive has finally went. If I buy a new hard drive from a third-party, do I need to purchase a new Windows software? Or is the Windows software saved on the motherboard? thank you.

Hi:

 

If you had previously upgraded to W10, you can reinstall it for free by using the Media creation tool at the link below to create a bootable USB installation flash drive.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option, and W10 will install and automatically activate once you are connected to the internet.
