Hi @Praveen0319,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the CMOS Reset 502 error on your HP Pavilion x360 - 14, updating the BIOS can indeed be a helpful step. Even if your specific Windows version (Windows 10 Pro 22H2) is not listed on the HP website, you can still proceed with the BIOS update by following these general steps.

Steps to Update BIOS on HP Pavilion x360 - 14

Identify Current BIOS Version:

  • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
  • Type msinfo32 and press Enter to open the System Information window.
  • Look for the BIOS Version/Date entry to find your current BIOS version.

Download the Latest BIOS Update:

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Enter your laptop model (HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0077tu) in the search bar and navigate to the support page.
  • Select the "Software and Drivers" section.
  • Choose your operating system (Windows 10). If Windows 10 Pro 22H2 is not listed, select Windows 10 as it should be compatible.
  • Download the latest BIOS update available.

Prepare for BIOS Update:

  • Ensure your laptop is connected to a reliable power source.
  • Close all other applications and save your work.
  • It's recommended to create a backup of your important data before proceeding.

Run the BIOS Update:

  • Locate the downloaded BIOS update file and run it.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions carefully. The system may restart several times during the update process.
  • Do not interrupt the process until it is fully completed.

Check BIOS Settings:

  • After the update is complete, restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 or ESC during boot).
  • Check if the CMOS Reset 502 error persists.
  • If the error is resolved, ensure all BIOS settings are correct and optimized for your system.

By following these steps, you should be able to update the BIOS and hopefully resolve the CMOS Reset 502 error on your HP Pavilion x360 - 14

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
