i assume you are talking about the function in hp support assistant..
I am not very convinced of the usefulness, but if it no longer works, uninstall the hp support assistant software
click if asked to delete settings
I don't have the exact message in mind, but it asks at some point if you want to keep or delete, you have to delete
Then download and install hp support
HP Support Assistant | HP® Official Site
Once installed, open the microsoft windows store , select the library and look for the update from hp support
