Hi:

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure, means the hard drive is about to fail, or has failed, needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

The specs and parts list for your PC indicate the drive is a notebook size (2.5") drive.

I'm going to give you two options:

A same kind replacement 1 TB mechanical hard drive.

If you can live with 500 GB of space, a better performing, normally more reliable solid state drive.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive using the Media creation tool at the link below.  Select the 64 bit option.  You will need access to another working Windows PC for this.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

Thank you for your quick reply, I have opted for the SATA SSD and reading the reviews I came across that I need these cables to make it work with my PC a SATA III cable and a 2.5” to 3.5” adapter bracket to fit in the desktop. Sorry to ask again, buy can you please provide links to these cables and also I read that with the SSD before I can reinstall the OS the PC doesn't recognize the disk. Based on your experience will I have this issue? Thanks in advance.

You're very welcome.

According to the specs and parts list for your PC, your PC has a 2.5" drive, not a 3.5" drive, so no cables or adapters should be required.

You may want to open up the PC now and check since it isn't working anyway.
