Is it possible to partition the hard drive  and install windows 7?

Hi:

 

There would be a few roadblocks to doing that.

 

W7 is not compatible with secure boot.  You would have to enable legacy mode and disable secure boot in the BIOS.

 

W7 will only install via a USB flash drive, and you must run this utility to put the USB 3 drivers into your W7 USB flash drive.

Otherwise, the KB and mouse won't work because there is no USB 3 support, and the USB 2 ports don't work until after W7 is installed and you install the Intel chipset installation utility.

 

Also Intel did not develop any graphics drivers for the onboard graphics adapter, except for W10.

 

So you would have to hope this modded W10 driver works for the onboard graphics (see Bruce BTS' post).
