You're very welcome.

Yes, it is.  You would have gotten that message on W7 as well.

Hi:

HP no longer sells recovery media for that model series.

You can still order a recovery kit from this vendor at the link below...

You should also be able to reinstall W7 for free if you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 Home Premium product key on your PC's case.

Download the W7 64 bit Home Premium ISO file from the link below, toward the bottom of the page.

https://getintopc.com/softwares/operating-systems/windows-7-home-premium-free-download-iso-32-bit-64...

Use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below that you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable.

Since the ISO file is a retail OS file, and the product key on your PC's case is OEM, you may need to use the Microsoft automated phone activation system to activate W7.

After W7 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

Thanks for prompt response.

I have used a newer,  Windows10 ,   laptop  to download theWindosw 7 ISO  file  and the Zipped download tool file.  I planned to make a bootable USB flash drive on this device

The download executable is asking to make changes on my computer.  Because of the different  OS  inolved, Is Iit safe to  allow it?
