When I switch on my PC it beeps 3 times followed by 4 shorter beeps. Can anyone advise me

the 2015 Up page on this shows   3L 4S

"The system board displays a power failure (crowbar)"

this means in English the PSU is  overloaded.  (PSU failure or any thing in the PC that can overload a PC , power rails.

 

we strip a PC down to find what is shorted, first.  to what is called  Minimum system.

USB devices and cables first they can short too.

then going inside.

are you asking for shop to fix it , , or us guess, or how to actually do the tests and diagnostic steps , shops do.?
