Product: HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-1016
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently installed crucial 16 gb ddr4-2400 rdimm ram and I take out the original 8 gb stick and when I install it beeps constantly 3 times and I put it in both ram slots and still beeps and I install my original stick and works perfectly fine please help!

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

HP memory upgrade options at this Site indicate your PC supports two 16 GB UDIMM memory modules. 

 

RDIMM modules would not work with your MB.

 

I would contact Crucial to exchange the purchased memory (RDIMM) for unregistered (UDIMM) memory modules

 

Did you use the Crucial Memory Scanner when selecting the memory modules purchased?
