I was notified by my computer that the HP warranty was to expire.  I followed the links and purchased the extended warranty.  I was just notified today that my warranty expired yesterday.  I have all of the email receipts or confirmations showing that I purchased the warranty.  Is HP not going to honor the purchase?  They took my money but the highly trained experts failed to extend my warranty.  Do I get my money back? or do I have to go to the social media on the internet to express my utter disappointment with HP?

You should have been able to Register your Care Pack after purchase.

Have a Care Pack Warranty that needs to be Registered?

         HP Care Pack Registration Page

At this writing, there is a contact phone number to get help with the registration process.

See Question #3 on on the right side of the registration form page.

Care Pack - Optional Coverage Plans

Select Region (scroll down > Click Flag)

Enter your product number in the form to view available Warranty plans for your device

The purchase process and registration is the most lame thing I have ever seen.  Whenever I purchased the extended package there was absolutely no notification that the package needs to be registered.  Absolutely none.  I have searched all of the email confirmations and receipts.  Absolutely no mention of the need for registration.  This is totally amateurish.

And now after attempting to register my purchase, I find that it will be a 3 or 4 weeks time span before it is activated.  This is totally unacceptable.  I am totally disgusted with HP.  What a bunch of amateurs.

You are welcome.

Do you need help submitting a Case to HP Support now?

That is, do you have a problem for which you need warranty repair?

If yes, ask and we can direct a request for review so you can submit the case to HP Support.
