I put in a new motherboard because of lightning damage.  Now it starts up but no display.  It is a HP Pavillion Touch 20-f-234.   Any suggestions

@Squirrel04

Are you driving the monitor from integrated video chip on the motherboard?  Or are you driving it from a separate video card?

If a separate card, and you have integrated video, the issue is probably that the BIOS defaults are set to use the integrated video chip, not a separate card.  If that is the case, connect the monitor to the motherboard, and if you then get a display, switch the BIOS to use the separate card.

Additionally, if there is a separate card and you are driving the monitor from it, it could also have been damaged and might not work anymore.  In that case, I would try the integrated video on the motherboard to see what happens.
