Product: Example: Pavilion 27 a210
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to reformat my hard drive and ordered the reinstall usb drive from hp.  It failed install because of incorrect brand name. Does anyone have any ideas how to get this thing up and running again?

Hi:

 

Since the HP recovery drive didn't work, you can clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installation drive using the media creation tool at the link below.   You will need to have access to another Windows PC for this.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
