I have a HP All-in-One - 20-c023w that the 500g hdd stopped working and started throwing a no disk installed as well as the no boot device found. So I figured out why and the ribbon controlling the reading arm of the hdd split so it wasn't getting and power to read anymore. I ordered a 2.5" 2tb ssd and an adapter to fit it in my internal slot and make it a sata III 3.5" connector. I got it installed and it's passed all of the tests finally. (Yay!) So now I'm wondering what's next? I know I need to get another windows 10 OS on it, but I don't have a second computer to throw a copy on a thumb drive and boot off of that. I'm unsure of how to proceed but **bleep** do I wanna get it running again so I can play age of empires and stronghold and have a place to dump my movies and music into. I opted for the 2tb ssd cuz I thought no spinning disc means it'll hopefully last longer than the physical spinning disc.plus adding 1.5tb to the storage will be bad a to me. Does anyone know of a way I can get this thing booted up with a new OS without a thumb drive copy? I can't get past the black screen or the blue menu saying no boot installed or detected because there isn't one at the moment. Any info would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for the time you spent reading on my issue. Hope yall have a good day, and I look forward to any assistance yall could give me. I'm excited and really want this computer up and running again

When I have upgraded HP All-in-Ones to use SSDs, I always did that with both the old hard drive and the new SSD both connected to the PC. That way, I could simply "migrate" the Windows install from one drive to the other.
But if your old hard drive does not work anymore, that is not an option.
If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.
The recovery drive can then be used to install Windows and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.
You will need a working PC and a 32GB USB stick to hold the recovery files. Here is the link:

You use the Microsoft Store to download the actual tool:

If you use a different PC to run the tool, you will have to provide your PC's product number. Here is an HP link for finding that information:
