Product: Apple MAC
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I recently upgraded to the latest macOS 10.15 Catalina and cannot connect my laptop to my screen without mirroring the screens.  Before, I would able to log-on from my laptop and close the laptop lid and continue on my screen.  Also, how do I change the screen time?  I cannot seem to make the changes in settings.  It times out so quickly.
