Linux

Since 6 years we are using ThinPro devices. We started with a HP T510 with ThinPro version 4. Later on we switched to ThinPro version 5. We are using SmartCard readers to read certain smartcards which have SSL Certificates on them. When we insert the SmartCard reader in a ThinPro 4 or 5 version and start an ICA connection to a Citrix farm the certificates are installed in the users private store (Internet Explorer).

When we install new Linux Card Reader software from Omnikey, because we are using new card readers, everything is working fine except that the certificates are not installed anymore in the users private store. We can access the smartcard and read everything on it but it is not installing the certificates anymore. When a users logs in on a Windows workstation and is starting a session to the same Citrix farm the certificates are installed. When the user is logs in on a ThinPro device the user can see the certificates in its private store and use them as they should. The smartcard is still needed to very the user is the user and the user also has to enter their passcode for the smartcard. But from that point everything is working as it should be.

Can anyone help us out to be sure the certificates are installed again? We have tried to update the CitrixReceiver software on the ThinClient to all available versions.

We also have tried all available versions of the OmniKey SmartCard reader linux software.

We also have tried ThinPro version 4, 5, 6 and 7. The only time the smartcard reader is installing the certificates from the smartcard to the private store is with ThinPro version 4 and 5 without updating any of the CitrixReceiver software or smartcard reader software. As soon as we update one of those the smartcard is working fine except the installing certificates part.

Any help is appreciated.
