My husband and I have an HP computer. We are not logged into any Microsoft email accounts currently.  But, when I look at the storage on the computer it says 41.3 GB is being used by mail.  We used to be logged into other Microsoft accounts through work.  How do we resolve this issue?

It is not memory; it is disk space -- the difference is important.

If you were logged into email accounts, then when you opened your inbox, it downloaded all the new emails to this laptop.  Unless you manually went in and removed them, they would still be there.

There are lots of different email applications and each stores the email in a different format in a different location.  If you provide the name of the application you used, we might be able to find out where it stores its email files and folders.
