The recovery atempts has failed

Hello,

HP Pavillion All-in-one PC

Model # : 24-b217c

 

My PC has totally failed. I bought Recovery Kits and New HDD from HP site.

During recovery process, I saw the error message.

"The recovery attempts has failed."

CTOError.flg-Notepad

Component : Windows 10 PIN Diagnostic Tools

Timing : FactoryUpdate

Error : Incorrect brand name [Unknown]

Expected Brand name from FB[Pavilion]

Next Step : Please check Model Name or Feature Byte

 

Please help me. What should I do?

Hi:

 

If the HP recovery media didn't work, the only suggestion I can offer would be to see if you can clean install W10.

 

You can clean install W10 by making a bootable W10 installation flash drive using the media creation tool at the link below.

 

You will need to have access to another working Windows PC, and an 8 GB USB flash drive.

 

Make the 64 bit installation media.  Your PC came with W10 64 bit, not 32 bit.

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
