Hi:
Open the Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features, right click the entry for the HP 3D DriveGuard, and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When you are at the Windows desktop, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link, and restart the PC.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When you are at the Windows desktop, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link, and restart the PC.

I took the actions that you advised to delete the old program. Then I downloaded and ran this new .exe program and it installed a new version of HP £D DRive Guard which does not cause any conflict with the Win10 operating system. Thank you. Perhaps you should have alerted HP users through their Support portals on their PCs.

Probably why only 18% of Windows 10 PC's have received the Creator update. Its the little things that need to be worked out on PC's. Such as these conflicts with drivers. I advise anyone not to manually update to the Creator update unless Windows update gives you that update.
