My touch pad is sticking.  Is there a replacement pad or laptop top piece available?

@Shari2849, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I would like to know the following:

  • What do you mean when you say it is sticking?
  • Is it not moving according to the speed you prefer?
  • Or is it not responding to the gestures?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

My touch pad doesn't always accept the click and somet6imes it gets stuck in the clicked position and just keeps acting like a click to whatever the arrow is pointing at.  I tries cleaning around the edged of the pad, but that had no affect.

Have you tried using an external mouse on your computer? Does that work fine?

If no, please try.

Also, refer to this document HP Notebook PCs - Using the TouchPad or ClickPad (Windows 10) for additional help.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
