I have a HP Envy, when the mouse is not being used the icon will move to the upper right corner of the desktop and start closing applications.

@Chris27389,

Thank you for posting in the HP community. A good day to you. I will be glad to assist you here.

I would require better clarity regarding this:

  • Did it occur after a recent software or Windows update?
  • Did you connect an external wired USB mouse to one of the USB ports and check if that works correctly?
  • Is it an Envy desktop or notebook?
  • Does your computer have a touchscreen?
  • If it does did you check if is malfunctioning?

Furnish the requested details for me to assist you correctly.

Thanks and have a great week ahead.
