I have a h9 1150ea PC currently using two monitors.

Please can you tell how I can connect a third screen that I can use along with the other two that would also act independantly.

Thank you

Using a USB to DVI/VGA adapter similar to this works nicely: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AIJE9G/ref=psdc_13983791_t2_B00A2E1MQA

This a similar but uses USB 3.0  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A2E1MQA?psc=1

Both give the user mulyiple choices for monitor connections.

Just to be sure, would I then be able to have 3 independant screens (eg could have hyave 3 different displays at once)?

Is the USB 3 more suitable than USB 2?

HP Recommended

Yes, the monitor connected to the USB adapter will be independant if set up in that manner in Windows.  I have not used the USB 3.0 adapter but if you have USB 3.0 ports, that would be my choice.  On the model in question both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 are present.
