I shut down the system after an update gone wrong.Now after I switched it on it is showing a start up menu on the screen with options:

F1: system info

F2: System Diagnostics

F9: Boot menu

F10: BIOS setup

F11: System recovery

ENTER: System recovery

what should I do?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your PC/Laptop.

Please follow the steps below to perform a reset.

 

1) Shut down the computer.

2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.  

3) Select the F11 key to enter the recovery environment.

4) On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot.

4) "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.

5) From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.
