Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased a brand new desktop computer HP Pavilion 570 without OS and then installed the Win10. How can I install and use the HP Recovery Manager on this desktop?

The HP Recovery Manager requires the presence of the HP Recovery partition -- which is created at the factory when the PC is built.  Without this, the Recovery Manager will not be able to function; so even if you did download and install it, it would serve no useful purpose.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I don't think you can install HP's Recovery Manager as you did not purchase an HP OEM copy of W10.

Anyway, this is not a deal breaker. W10 installation media has bootable OS Backup and Recovery options. And I am sure you have no device errors in "Device Manager".

HP's Recovery Manager is not a "must have" in your situation.

Hi OldAnt,

You're very welcome.

Kudos for installing W10 clean on your new HP PC! I guess you had a product key.

HP charges less for W10 compared to purchasing a product key online. I have seen W10 for about $100.00 on Amazon or Newegg.
