HP all in one desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use windows 10 and while I was recovering windows there was a power failure and thereafter I was not able to invoke the recovery option as my system doesn't reach the recovery software on the hard disk.

Hi,

A power failure can cause HDD/SSD data corruption and/or hardware damage.

So you could have both issues.

First check hardware if possible.

Start the PC. Tap the "ESC" key to try to get to the HP UEFI Startup Menu.

Select "F2" to run system diagnostics. This will check hardware.

You could repeat this process if the hardware is okay. Now select "F11" to try a System Recovery.

Let the forum know if either option helps.

You may have to get HP factory recovery media or install W10 clean if hardware is okay but the HDD has corrupted data which prevents doing a HP system recovery.

Damaged hardware due to the power failure may require replacing any damaged components.

Regards
