Error message0x8007042B-0x4000D
The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation.
This happened with a free upgrade while:
1) installing directly to the hard drive
2) installing from a USB with the applicationi
3) as well as purchased SW upgrade from Microsoft to migrate from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10
anyone have a solution to complete the install ?

A six year old HD is beyond its duty cycle. The 0x8007042B error usually pops up when the system is crashed due to the damage or corrupted files. I would remove the hard drive, and replace with same capacity.
IMHO< the only fix is to purchase WIN 10 and install as new.
