Windows Update Hewlett-Packard - USB - 4/8/2019 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.0.237 Install error - 0x80070103

I am running Windows 11 Pro, 22H2.  I started receiving the following error in Windows Update:

"Windows Update Hewlett-Packard - USB - 4/8/2019 12:00:00 AM - 1.0.0.237 Install error - 0x80070103."

The error can duplicate showing up twice on the Windows Update screen.

Things that I have tried that have not worked:

1. Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

2. Using the wushowhide utility to attempt to hide the update.  Using the wushohide utility seems to hide one of the duplicate errors. 

3. Toggling Pause Updates off and on to force a recheck for updates.

4. Restarting the Windows Update process and renaming the \Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder.

None of those have resolved the error.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this error would be appreciated.

Thank you.  Unfortunately, I tried all the options listed there and they did not resolve the error.

Sorry to hear this.

I would ignore the HP update if your PC is working good.

There have been some HP driver/firmware update problems using Windows update.
