It depends on the term "supported". Windows Vista is no longer supported by Microsoft.
As of April 11, 2017, Windows Vista customers are no longer receiving new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates from Microsoft.
That would not prevent the use of the Recovery Media but it will not update to the current state if you do the "factory reset". You may be able to install Windows 10, but that old of a model might not have drivers. I would assume that Windows 7 might be useable if you are wishing to do that - not for sure but more likely. The Windows Upgrade Advisor can give you the answer:
