Hi @avmicrosys,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Recreate the BIOS Recovery Drive:
- Ensure that your USB flash drive is formatted in FAT32 and that the BIOS recovery files are correctly copied to it.
- You might consider downloading the BIOS file again from the HP website, just to rule out any corruption during the download.
Correct USB Port and Boot Sequence:
- Plug the USB flash drive into a different port, preferably a port directly on the motherboard if available, rather than through hubs or extensions.
- On powering, if you see nothing on the screen, try holding the Windows + B keys while pressing the power button for 2-3 seconds. This combination sometimes triggers BIOS recovery.
Clear CMOS (if possible):
- Although not always easy on All-in-One PCs, clearing the CMOS can reset the BIOS settings. This typically involves unplugging the computer and holding the power button for 15 seconds or accessing the CMOS battery.
Attempt Forced BIOS Recovery:
- Follow the HP's specific instructions for attempting a forced BIOS recovery. This often involves specific key combinations during the boot process, such as Windows + V, Windows + B, or F2.
Alternative Display:
- If you suspect a display issue, connect your device to an external monitor to verify if the POST screen or any error messages appear there.
I hope this helps.
