forgot my administrator password, i only have a guest user.

 

can i change my admin password via command prompt?

On another computer with a CD-writer, Google-search for "Nordahl offline password".

Download this software, and burn it to a CD-recordable.

Boot your computer from this CD, and follow the prompts to "blank" the password for your ID.

Then, reboot, after removing the media from the CD drive.

When asked to enter the password for your ID, just press ENTER.

Set a new password.

Create a new "password recovery" disk.

 

Maybe, tattoo the new password onto your body, to prevent losing it.  🙂
