Hi, I have a 3 year old computer that I hope I can run on the internet from a a wireless modem. The modem works on the lap tops okay. I just want to hook the main computer without wires from the modem. I can't find the required wireless hook up on the main computer. Can anyone help? Kind regards Bruce

Hi,

Based on information from this page, it has

Expansion Slots:

    1 PCI Express x16
    2 PCI Express x1
    1 PCI

It also has an ASUS DVB-T/PALTV tuner card and a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT card. I don't know where they are. Therefore you still have at least 1 PCI Express slot and 1 PCI slot free. My suggestion is to use wireles PCI Express card such as this or USB wireless card such as this.

Any of them should come with a driver CD and instructions how to connect to an existing wireless Network.

Regards,

Hi,

Technology can change every second week. From Nov 2011 to April 2017 is a verly long time and the machine could be 8 years old by now. It may not support today technology but please try
